September Blues

It's a normal Sept night in a normal city. News of PM Tony Blair resigning from his duty is floating in this quiet chilly 4am. I stroll to the laundry to perform the usual chores only to be welcomed by what seems like the beginning of a long winter 'breeze'. Other thoughts came flooding in...
Completing dissertation on time looks bleak...
As to where I will be same time next year? grey...
I will officially be 24 in 48hrs & my family is miles away...
Biological clock is ticking but the well is dry as April draught...
Friends of my age and their success stories (or where they're headed) only belittles where I am at present. Negligence and procrastination against time will be the biggest hinder of my life. Honourable words such as respect & discipline has long gone out of the window. Mind is filled with muddy confusion which seems to be sinking deeper into the quagmire.
The clinical perscription for this symptom is depression, but denial is strong at bay.
Tired. Drained.
ps: don't ask me why i brought up the news about Tony Blair... guess it's just on my mind...
