Leave my girlfriend out of this

This is posted at 3am in the morning (not unusual at all, but TODAY, I was rudely awakened by the smell of fried onions in my wonderful sleep as my brother was sizzling away his supper)... First reaction? Jumped up, found whatever perfume I had in my drawer and sprayed my entire room. (Bad mistake, can't sleep now with the overwhelming onion + Tommy Hilfiger). Since I was up, I thought I'd pay my brother a visit, making sure he cleans up well (Not that he doesn't., but it's just a very lazy second job) ie. Cleaning up but not drying up... Leaving out a plate and a cup, leaving the worktop dirty, leaving the sink dirty, leaving the rubbish. NO CRIME I must say, but it's slightly *on the nerves* to a girl (moreover, I'm a pretty controling clean kinda freak)
So I said 'hey, will u be good and clean up nice? Imagine if u were living with ur gf/wife, imagine if u were sharing stuff n things.' (purpose of my saying that? It's a learning curve for my brother (and myself) and when he eventually lives with HIS family, they wouldn't have to pick up after him.
To that he replied 'Leave my girlfriend out of this'
With that, I'm not bothered at all but it seems like that is his 'buah mulut' (phrase that is hanging around the mouth) these days.
My mother's concern of him having a relationship? 'I can't believe mum is doing this. THIS is so UNFAIR! Tell mum to Leave my girlfriend out of this' (Stern and serious)
??? This has got NOTHING agaisnt your girlfriend you over-protective-over-nothing fool! (i'm being kind) Its YOU! You have to pick up your act! (Ok. Not as serious as that coz he is very considerate compared to when he was at home. Well done for coming this far, but you can do better. I'm also learning to hold my tongue. Would it kill to even try?)
And as to your girlfriend (past, present, future), YOU brought the angel INTO our lives. We're merely embracing that. If YOU don't want that to happen, then why did YOU bring her INTO the equation at all??? *contradictive*
